A DWP Deal?

| | Comments (0) |

Ken Jeffries talks with Daily News City Hall reporter Rick Orlov, who says the council has again voted in support of a DWP rate hike no larger than six-tenths-of-a-cent per kilowatt hour. The DWP has been pushing for a larger increase ... leading to a standoff between the agencies over 73-point-5-million-dollars the utility was expected to transfer to the city's General Fund. The DWP board is slated to meet tomorrow to discuss the proposed rate hike.

Also, Orlov talks about Councilman Richard Alarcon's plan to freeze rent hikes in rent-controlled apartments.
