Valley JCC Shooting Victim Goes to White House

| | Comments (0) |

Ken Jeffries talks with Mindy Finkelstein (full disclosure: his niece) as Mindy prepares to travel from her home base of San Francisco to Washington, D.C., to meet President Obama this Thursday as part of Jewish Heritage Month.

Mindy was a camp counselor in 1999 when she was injured by an avowed white supremacist who shot up the North Valley Jewish Community Center in Granada Hills. Buford Furrow, who also killed Filipino-American postal worker Joseph Ileto in Chatsworth that same day--is serving a life term without parole.
