The DWP OKs a new LA Watering Plan

| | Comments (0) |

Ken Jeffries talks with Daily News City Hall reporter Rick Orlov, who analyzes today's DWP Commission approval of a new watering plan. It lets homeowners water their lawns 15 minutes a day for three days a week...replacing the old plan of 20 minutes per day, twice a week.

It's designed to help keep lawns greener and preserve city's aging water main system which had been subject to several high-profile breaks recently. It needs City Council approval, which is expected to come next week.
