It's back to school--ALREADY?

Ken Jeffries talks with Daily News education writer Connie Llanos, who details two new schedules for the LAUSD. Students at three high schools head back to class for the fall semester this week as part of a new shortened summer schedule. Meantime, next Monday, 17 other high schools and one elementary school in the district are slated to start THEIR year. The calendar changes are designed to maximize retention between school years.
