Read RC Now now
This newspaper launched a Rancho Cucamonga-themed blog named RC Now. It's having what you might call a soft opening, which is why you might not know about it yet.
The main blogger is my colleague Wendy Leung, with some kibitzing from colleague Canan Tasci, and there's some fun stuff there.
Even if you don't live or work in Rancho, I recommend the very funny posts Councilman on the Job Hunt Part 2, Children Say the Darndest Things, RC Day at the L.A. County Fair and Government Containment. You might also find the news about the Archibald Library remodeling and a possible Morton's Steakhouse of interest. (Those are two separate projects; Rancho isn't pioneering a library/steakhouse.)

Rex Gutierrez, junkyard dog?
Why not a library/steakhouse? Add in the Fair, and we could have Steinbeck Steak-on-a-Stick.

Dave, I just checked out the RC blog, only saw two comments, the last was just to say they were leaving a "comment," lqtm. Wake up Rancho, ya'll have your own blog and seems no one is looking.
[Perhaps so, although there's been a glitch in which only people signed in to Movable Type or LiveJournal can leave comments. Not surprisingly, that's a mighty small number. Our online folks are working on it. -- DA]
I saw your title, and I clicked right over. Unfortunately something wasn't in the cards because I got the RC Now banner, but no text. A few times. Hmph. It doesn't like me. LOL

Great to see a blog for RC! I have it set up on my Blackberry so I can easily check it every day.
