Did you see our Page One story yesterday on the Fox Theater, Claremont Packing House and other examples of historic preservation -- or, in some cases, pseudo-preservation or outright demolition? Between this troubling, but very well written, article and one I saw in the Claremont Courier about all the businesses failing in the "Village West" (sorry, I can't keep up with what they're calling it today) project, I'm worried for the old IE.
