With submission, sir, perhaps they should fix the 'I' as well but maybe they just prefer not to.
Thanks for the reading tip!
Wow,
I know someone FAMOUS! I am impressed my friend.
Have a wonderful holiday season!
[You can tell people you were reading me YEARS ago, before it became fashionable. -- DA]
Your name up in lights -- almost! You're finally getting the recognition you deserve.
Don't be too concerned about the letters being misaligned. That just makes the marquee quirky. Kinda like you and your column and blog.
Undoubtedly, there will be a few folks who will be saying, "David who?" thus causing conversations so it's all good.
Congrats!
GREETINGS:
Is this sign aimed at the public in general, suggesting they peruse your prose? Or is it rather a mandate to you, David, to pay more heed to the written word?
Or maybe it's a plea to the local populace to seek to understand you better.
One thing is certain: You are now a marquee name in the Inland Valley!
[By the same token, I suppose it could have said "Eat Bread David Allen" but the first four letters fell off. -- DA]
These guys even named their blog after you apparently:

David, this is fantastic! How fun. :)
