The name of this gas station in Blythe, Calif., seems to be pulling our leg, if not our finger. I shot this while en route to Phoenix.

Was there also a quickie-mart that sold bean burritos?

Just a hint... not sure if you filled up for gas there or not, but you ALWAYS want to wait to cross the AZ border before filling up since gas is always cheaper by 10 or more cents over there.

Interestingly, the owner's last name was Passmore. I believe the name of the gas station has changed.

[Really? That's funny. And you're right, the name had changed when I passed through in 2011. -- DA]
