The 909 is everywhere

Last week, even though I was vacationing in the 707 (Sonoma County), I was still thinking of the 909.

I'd been casually keeping an eye out for a business or house with the 909 street address here at home but hadn't noticed one. Then I was walking down a residential street in Petaluma and there one was. Isn't this cool? This could be my theme photo.

Have you seen a 909 locally?

Don't you love Petaluma with a downtown full of restaurants, movie theatres and shops? There are wonderful Victorian houses and as you drive out of town, lots of cows and horses. We will be there next week visiting our granddaugher and hubby at the Coast Guard base 20 min. from downtown. It's a huge base about 7 miles from the ocean. We are always amazed at the number of deer wandering the base and not at all intimidated by people. And the weather is so nice this time of year! Hope you enjoyed your time off.

[I did. Nice to hear from a fan of Petaluma. I used to live and work there. -- DA]
