Things are tough all over

Stopped at a red light Tuesday on southbound Central Avenue at Mission Boulevard, I noticed a sobering economic indicator: a strip club is now employing sign spinners.

Apparently not even lap dances are recession-proof.

Looks like a win-win-win situation.

The club and the dancers will get more business. (Maybe.)

The patrons of the club will get a two-fer.

Somebody got hired to spin the sign.

Theoretically someone in the County's economic development department would see the plight of this business and render assistance, but in this particular case I doubt that will happen.

But did the business have to lay off the "three ugly ones"?

Maybe they've moved two of the three ugly ones to sign spinning.

Well if those are the strippers, oh wait, I mean "dancers," no wonder they aren't getting business. I keed, I keed.

Kind of makes you wonder why a big building with a rainbow of colors doesn't have more business.
