Ooh-la-la in Upland

This banner on an Upland discount store is visible — perhaps too visible — to motorists along the 10 Freeway at Mountain Avenue. (The “Happiness Guaranteed!” slogan is a nice touch.) I don’t know about the prices, but based on the banner, apparel appears to be half off. Doesn’t the store sell tops?

After the Back To The Future article, is it coincidence that your next blog post mentions “Ooh La La” or was that a covert means to root out the BTTF geeks who read your blog? (A publication by that name made for a great plot device in BTTF2.)

    Consider this geek outed.

Hmmm, but if the tops are also half off, one hates to think of the freeway tie-ups at Mountain….

I used to have a tummy like that. Before kids…sigh.. :) Heh. Chances are that there is very :::little::: selection there. :)

Low-rise jeans and trousers — ghrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! The absolute ugliest, most tasteless, fashion item of the 20th and 21st centuries. Will the era ever end? (You don’t have to tell me — these comments are a dead giveaway of my age.)
