Uh, where exactly? In the bushes? Seen at the Claremont Packing House. They shouldn't tease me like this.

(The sign was probably meant to point inside to the Claremont Forum, which among other things sells used books.)

Perhaps it's too much of a stretch to treat it as a verb, as in "run that way." (Or "runs that way.")

Yeah, and if it were an imperative, it would have to be without the "s." It is too bad there isn't an actual trail of books, like the illustrated one on the sign itself that seems to stop abruptly.
