On vacation in St. Louis, I noticed a butcher's window with these unrelated -- or are they? -- signs. Seen at Soulard Farmers Market, where the slogan is "Since 1779."

Reminded me of a great TV spot I saw years ago for a barbecue place:

Scene is a lovely green hill with a beautiful tree at the top. Cue spiritual, uplifting background music. Coming up one side of the hill are a cow, a pig, a lamb and several chickens. Narrator: "All of God's creatures are precious and wonderful. . ." The narration continues in this fashion until interrupted by a second voice shouting, "Hey, I got an idea . . . let's eat 'em!"
