Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat. Bring back “Jurassic Planet” and the baked potato pavilion!

I love the Fair, although I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years. I try to get there at least twice, usually more, and each time I go, I concentrate on one or two areas. The final weekend features the draft horse show, and I love seeing that. The shopping gets to be a bit much – so many of the buildings seem to have the same thing and the crowd in there is exhausting.

I always go with big dreams of all the things I’ll eat, but in reality I don’t eat that much – partly budget and partly trying to exercise a little common sense!

I love your idea of feeding ants to the anteater! I’ll be happy to contribute mine (ants) – they’ve been unceasingly invading my kitchen for the past few weeks.

We had to hire an exterminator for the DB newsroom. We’ve had ants everywhere! A coworker even found a couple in her water cup. She cleaned it out with bleach.

Yay LA County Fair!! Also: Could this be the third time in the same month that the David Allen column has thrown in a Star Trek reference? Also: Star Trek at the Fair?? My universes are colliding! Like when the Enterprise crew tried to beam up in the ion storm and accidentally crossed over into the parallel universe where everyone was evil and Spock had a goatee!! (That comparison makes no sense whatsoever.) Yay Fair!

“Yay Fair!” at least makes perfect sense!
