Column: Voters could help Pomona’s library turn the page

Wednesday’s column is about Measure PPL and doubles as an update on the Pomona Public Library, which was threatened two years ago with closure. The library is still open, but with limited hours and services. The ballot measure would change that. Two-thirds approval is not easy to get, however.

Your column and blog are always great (I’ve said that before, but I’m guessing you don’t mind hearing it again). This one made me wish I lived in Pomona just so I could vote for the measure. Good for all the people involved for volunteering their time. I’ll be watching the results to see what happens!
