SuperLiga: Una final americana, Atlante pierde 1-0
Al final hubo bronca entre americanos y mexicanos. Fueron los últimos esfuerzos de los del sur de San Diego para salvar un poco de orgullo en este torneo ya que la final será USA vs. USA.
El Revolution de New England impuso su calidad de local y venció esta noche al Atlante de México por la mínima diferencia para así pasar a la gran final de la SuperLiga donde se vera cara a cara con el Dynamo de Houston. El encuentro se vió manchado al final por una trifulca entre miembros de ambos equipos.
Atlante dió un pobre espectáculo para arrancar y lo pagó con sangre en el minuto 30 cuando Shalrie Joseph decretó el 1-0 tras quedarse solito para colocar un cabezazo a la esquina del portero. El segundo tiempo vió a un Atlante diferente, pero el juego sucio fue lo que prevaleció.
