Raiders: Habla Al Davis, dice que "eligió al hombre equivocado"
El dueño de los Raiders Al Davis dio una conferencia de prensa esta tarde tras despedir al entrenador Lane Kiffin por teléfono y sin paga alguna. Entre cosas dichas a resaltar, Al Davis dijo que la situación "dolió" por que fue él quien escogio a Kiffin y que fue "el hombre equivocado."
Davis continuó y dijo que las razones por el despido fueron la división que había en el equipo y que él sentía que debería de haber un cambio para mejorar las cosas.
Kiffin por su parte dijo estar dolido por la manera en que Davis se refirió a él en la conferencia de prensa tras ser despedido. Davis calificó a Kiffin de mentiroso.
Tom Cable, el coordinador de la línea ofensiva, aceptó ser el remplazo de Kiffin. Los Raiders no juegan esta semana.
