USC empató el juego con un touchdown de Mark Sanchez a Damian Williams de 32 yardas.
La jugada se inició como un cuarto down con 2 yardas por conseguir. En lugar de escojer una corrida para tratar de conseguir el par de yardas y un primer down, USC eligió ir por el pase largo de Sanchez a Williams, quien atrapó el balón solito.
Creo que Oregon fue engañado en esa corajuda jugada.
