Los Rams se tomaron unas vacaciones en New York.
St. Louis perdió contra los Jets 47-3 gracias a cinco regalos del ataque, dos intercepciones y tres balones perdidos. Brett Favre ni siquiera se tuvo que esforzar y completó 14 de 19 intentos de pase por 167 yardas y un touchdown.
El corredor Thomas Jones tuvo tres anotaciones para los Jets. Jay Feely, su pateador, tuvo cuatro goles de campo. Marc Bulger y Trent Green, mariscales de los Rams, fueron interceptados una vez cada uno.
