"Jen & Barb: Mom Life" is a web series distributed by BBE (Broadband
Enterprises Inc.) and it garnered 13 million views in the first seven
weeks - it is the first interactive web show created by and for modern
moms. The show stars two real moms, Jennifer Pate and Barbara Machen,
who are a lot of fun and riff on any topic mom or family related. The
two met in L.A. at a local kids gym and became BFFs when they realized
they we're experiencing many of the same things as new moms. They
wanted to take that cathartic experience and bring it to other moms
out there who may feel alone in what their going through ... "Jen & Barb:
Mom Life" is the result. The two put themselves and their parenting
philosophies on the line as they deal with life in the trenches and
what it means to be a mom today... and they don't always agree on what's
right.
Using their Mom experiences, each themed 5 minute episode finds Jen
and Barb discussing everything from careers to husbands to the mix of
emotions that comes from parenting. Additionally, they bring along an
expert and mom-submitted questions from online for the ride to discuss
daily issues, challenges, and joys of motherhood. Initial episodes
feature topics such as, "Post-Baby You", "Mommy Rut", and
"Disciplining
