MENTORS

Cal Poly Pomona Art Department Faculty and Student Mentees

The premise of the project is simple: Pair an Art Department faculty
member with up to three students of his or her choice and the faculty
member mentors them, one-on-one, through the exhibition process. The
event, which premiered in 2007 during Pasadena's ArtNight, highlights
the value and importance of mentoring at Cal Poly Pomona.

Now through April 25th, 2009

A reception is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The reception will coincide with Metro Pomona's Second Saturday Art
Walk, which features more than 25 galleries hosting receptions for
their latest exhibits, while shops and restaurants offer extended
hours. The Farmer's Market also is scheduled downtown on both
evenings, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Gallery Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, Noon - 6 p.m., 2nd
Saturdays, 1:00 - 9 p.m.

The Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center is located at 300 W. Second
Street, Pomona 91766 in the heart of the Pomona Arts Colony.
