Our friends at Mimi’s Cafe have teamed up with the San Diego Zoo folks to offer Mimi’s diners a voucher for a free child’s (ages 3-11) admission ticket with the purchase of an adult (ages 12+) “Best Value Ticket” to the zoo.
The voucher is good whether you want to go the San Diego Zoo or the zoo’s Wild Animal Park. It’s a $26 value, which is nothing to shake a stick at.
All you have to do is eat at any of the 39 Southern California Mimi’s Cafe locations before August 31.
In addition, according to a press release, Mimi’s guests will receive a coupon toward Mimi’s Just Enough menu, good on a future visit.
And if that weren’t enough, mark your calendars now for Wednesday, August 12. That’s the day that participating Southern California Mimi’s Cafes will be donating 15% of net sales to the San Diego Zoo’s conservation efforts. You can help the zoo by printing out the flier available here and bringing it to your favorite Mimi’s on that day.

Poking around Mimi’s Web site, I found a couple more things that’ll help your conservation efforts.
First off, right on their home page, I found a link to a coupon that’ll grant you a free dessert with the purchase of a meal priced $10 or more. The coupon I printed is good for one week. Your mileage may vary.
Click here to print your own coupon.
Next up, also on the home page, there’s a link to their “Meet Me at Mimi’s” page. If you follow that link, you can invite all your friends to, um, meet you at Mimi’s. The best part, other than you’ll be eating at Mimi’s, is that if you’re one of the first 5,000 people to send an invitation, you’ll receive a coupon good for $5 when you buy two Just Enough entres.
I had to test the invitation to see if the coupons were still available, naturally, and they were when I sent my invitation a few minutes ago.
Again, your mileage may vary. Click here to send an invitation.
Good luck, and have fun at the zoo!
