Free Slurpee! Free Slurpee! Free Slurpee!

Oh thank heaven! Today is July 11 aka 7/11 aka 7-Eleven Day.

Slurpee.pngWhat does that mean to you? It means that you can go down to your local 7-Eleven store and get a free 7.11 ounce Slurpee.

Yup.

It's also the 82nd anniversary of that ubiquitous convenience store.

7-Eleven estimates that they'll give away nearly 5 million Slurpees today.

Wow...that's one giant brain freeze.

In addition, between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. (CST), you'll be able to enter an online contest to win one of 711 $50 Live Nation concert cash prizes, using a code available on the free Slurpee cups.

Also, anyone entering the contest will receive a code and a link to purchase $7.11 lawn seats at select Live Nation venues and shows.

As an added bonus, several Inland Empire stores will be hosting block parties as part of the celebration.

For all the details, follow the above links or read the official press release here.
