From 2 to 6 p.m. this Sunday (October 11), the Mountain Avenue Assembly of God, Redeemer’s Mission (Mision El Redentor) Spanish Assembly of God and Camino de Fe (Way of Faith) churches are hosting a “Festival del Caf” (Festival of Coffee)
and “Festival del Pan” (Festival of Bread) at 1951 S. Mountain
Avenue (between Philadelphia and Francis streets) in South Ontario.
The celebration is free and no donations of any kind will be accepted.
On the menu: Pozole and a selection of Brazilian dishes.

The Sons of Italy
West End Lodge #2127 is hosting its second annual pasta dinner
fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 24 at the Central Park
Senior Center, 11200 Base Line Road (at Base Line), Rancho Cucamonga.
Tickets are $10 and are available in advance at Antonino’s Italian Ristorante, 8045 Vineyard Ave. (at Foothill Boulevard) in Rancho Cucamonga.

Sevilla of Riverside, 3252 Mission Inn Ave., has announced the menu for this year’s Thanksgiving feast:

All this month, the folks at Souplantation are hosting a contest to crEATe new menu items.
All you have to to is invent an original dish using two to five Souplantation menu items and then post your entries via the contest Web site (where you’ll find current entries), Facebook page or email.
Ten finalists will be chosen in November and each will receive meal passes.

The average retail price of the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is $3.09 for the 12 ounce, $3.49 for the 16 ounce and $3.99 for the 21 ounce.
Also, many Blizzard flavors, including Pumpkin Pie, can be made into cakes, perfect for
