Psst...wanna buy a discount gift certificate?

We're pretty good at shameless self-promotion here at Dine 909, but this is a little bit of a twist.

Our company (the Los Angeles Newspaper Group) has come up with a new promotion that you can take advantage of: SoCal Gift Cards.

We've teamed up with local restaurants (and entertainment venues) to offer gift certificates at a discount.

All the gift certificates are at least 25% off. One (for Bombay Restaurant in Ontario) is 40% off.

Other participating restaurants include Legends Burgers (Rancho Cucamonga/Upland), Salsitas Mexican Grill (Rancho Cucamonga),  Antonino's Italian Restaurant (Rancho Cucamonga), Kool Kactus Café (Loma Linda), Cuban Café (Riverside), Monark Asian Bistro (Riverside), Mill Creek Cattle Co. (Mentone/Redlands) and Dine 909 favorite the Gourmet Pizza Shoppe (Redlands/Yucaipa).

And, as they say, many more.

Just head on over to SoCal Gift Cards to see all the deals.

I think my Christmas shopping just got a little more done.

Interesting... I just checked a couple more people off my Christmas shopping list with that site. And I like the idea that we are patronizing local small restaurants/businesses with these gift cards (rather then the larger chain restaurants).

Thanks for sharing!

Indeed. Thank you for purchasing!

We found out about it via a weekly company-wide email. I'm interested in trying the Cuban Café myself, and I know of at least one friend who's getting a Mill Creek Cattle Co. certificate. Hope he doesn't read this comment and make the connection!
