Yamazato's razed
So I was getting onto the 215 Freeway at Waterman Avenue the other day, and as I looked down, I spotted a big dirt lot where Yamazato of Japan once stood.
No more sushi bar. No more teppan grill. No more funky water wheel out front.
No more Chinese restaurant stashed away in back.
Yamazato's closed back in December 2008 and the restaurant had stood vacant since then.
Now it's gone, but what will take its place? A new restaurant? Or just more parking lot for the Hilton?
My guess is the latter.

Fine and not-so-fine dining in the Inland Empire.
It's not gone because you can't get on the 215 freeway at Waterman! If you were getting on the 10 at Waterman, then it could be gone.
If you are traveling south on Waterman, there is an on-ramp for the 215 right past the 76 Station (and the ramp takes you right past the former location of Yamazato).
So maybe you should check your facts before accusing someone else of being wrong.
