Coca-Cola Freestyle expanding in the Inland Empire

I went to check out the new Qdoba Mexican Grill in south Ontario last night and got a pleasant surprise: They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine!

So, I went to the Freestyle’s Facebook page to check on location updates and found that there are now four Freestyles installed in the Inland Empire!

In addition to the previously-known Rancho Cucamonga Boston Market and the new Ontario Qdoba, you’ll also find Freestyles at the Hometown Buffet in Loma Linda and at Zorba’s in Riverside.

Another little twist: The Ontario Qdoba Freestyle is the first I’ve seen that includes Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper instead of Pibb Xtra and Pibb Zero. Earlier this summer, Coca-Cola paid $715 million to the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group for distribution rights for certain Dr. Pepper Snapple Group brands. Part of the deal is a 20-year agreement for Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper to be included on the Coca-Cola Freestyle. They’re the only non-Coke brands to be distributed on the 106-choice Freestyle.
