'11, meet 99

Wienerschnitzel has kicked off it 50th anniversary celebration (it began as a single stand in Wilmington in 1961) by lowering the price of its original chili dogs to 99¢ for a limited time.

The promotion began January 1.

Who doesn't like Wienerschnitzel's original chili dogs? Vegetarians, I guess.

Combine this with their ongoing 79¢ corn dog deal and you could get the best of both worlds and be in hot dog heaven for $1.78, plus tax.

Take that, recession.

You'll find Wienerschnitzel restaurants throughout the Inland Empire.
