Sun Drop lands in the Inland Empire

I had previously only seen Sun Drop citrus soda while on vacation in Minnesota, and didn't get a chance to try it while I was there.

Last week I was able to pick up pair of two-liters at the Super Wal-Mart in Banning Beaumont.

To me, it tastes (the diet variety, at least) like a toned-down Mountain Dew.

The regionally-popular soda, a Dr. Pepper/Seven Up brand, will be available nationwide this year.

In addition to the regular and diet varieties, it's also available in cherry lemon and caffeine-free regular and diet.
