According to Joy Juedes’ story in the Redlands Daily Facts, Redlands’ newest restaurant is Curry in a Hurry, which opened a couple of weeks back.
Joy tells me the Indian restaurant, which grew out of a Redlands Market Night booth, has been doing a brisk business.
It’s not difficult to understand why. The owner, veteran restaurateur Kishore Bhat, is focused on offering fresh, economical meals.
Two examples: Single entre bowls are $3.99. Two item combos only $4.99.
Economical, indeed.
Plus: Spices and some ingredients come directly from India.
Minus: Menu is somewhat limited — seven or eight items.
Curry in a Hurry is at 1150 Brookside Ave. (at San Mateo Street), Suite I, in Redlands.
