The animal advocates over at Helping Out Pets Everyday are having a wine tasting fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. April 30 at Graber Olive House in Ontario.

The event -- Grape Expectations, An Experience in Wine Tasting -- includes hors d'œuvre, Graber Olives, dessert, coffee, music and a tour of the historic Graber Olive House, along with the wine tasting.

The hors d'œuvre, from Pine Haven Catering of Upland, will include overstuffed mushrooms with bacon and three cheeses; roasted and seasoned new potatoes; spring rolls with tangy tangerine dipping sauce; warm artichoke dip with blue corn tortilla chips; and chilled Brussels sprouts with fresh herbs.

Attendees will be given a bottle of wine to take home.

Tickets to the fundraiser are $35 per person and are available at Graber Olive House, 315 East Fourth Street in Ontario, or from HOPE.

For more information or tickets, contact Margaret Coffman at macc219@aol.com or leave a message for her at 800-811-4285.

Proceeds from the event will benefit HOPE to support their rescues and outreach programs.
