Redlands Five Guys to open next week?

East Valley Dine 909ers, the wait will soon be over.

According to a brief in yesterday's Redlands Daily Facts, the Redlands Five Guys Burgers and Fries will open next week.

The brief mentions that the Zagat-rated-better-burger-than-In-N-Out Virginia-based chain will open at 10400 Alabama St. (in the Redlands Town Center) on Wednesday (April 20).

When I went by about a week and a half ago, there was construction going on, but it still looked a ways from being done.

I guess a lot can be done in a few weeks if you're just creating a burger place.

Five Guys has already opened locations in Rancho Cucamonga, Mira Loma, Temecula and La Quinta and has plans for locations in San Bernardino, Moreno Valley and Corona.
