Food trucks are autos, right?

In addition to all the new and concept cars and alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles, food (and food trucks) will be part of the Inland Empire Auto Show, which will be held August 19, 20 and 21 at the Ontario Convention Center.

From 5 to 8 p.m. Friday (August 19) there will be a "Great Taste" event with free samples from over 20 restaurants and wineries. For more information, click here.

Also, in case you work up an appetite while checking out all the cars, half a dozen food trucks will be parked outside the center each day to satisfy your hunger.

In addition, those who purchase tickets online will receive a free meal voucher, good at any of the food trucks, for each ticket purchased. Also, 100 participants each day in the show's Ride and Drive test drive program will receive free meal vouchers.

The Inland Empire Auto Show will be open from noon to 9 p.m. Friday (August 19), 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday (August 20) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday (August 21).

Adult tickets (ages 13+) are $10, senior citizens (62+) and military are $5, and children (12 and under) are free.

The Ontario Convention Center is at 2000 E. Convention Center Way.
