Food trucks rolling in for the second Chino Valley Foodie Fest Saturday

Another weekend, another food truck event, it seems.

The second Chino Valley Foodie Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (September 17) at Don Lugo High School, 13400 Pipeline Ave., Chino.

Pre-sale tickets are $6 and are available here. Tickets will be $8 at the door. Children five and under get in free.

The event is a fundraiser for the Chino Valley Unified School District.

The first festival, held in April, attracted more than 4,000 people and was the first (that I know of) food truck festival in the Inland Empire.

Fourteen gourmet food trucks are scheduled to serve up tasty treats at Saturday's event, including the Ludo Truck, the Buttermilk Truck, Pie 'N Burger, and Rancho Cucamonga's Suite 106 Cupcakery.

The district will also present the annual State of the District with board president James Na.
