Wheel Food Fest Saturday in Walnut

I know, I know.

Walnut is not in the Inland Empire.

But, we've ventured beyond our borders in the past.

This event benefits a couple of worthy causes, so I'll mention it for those of you on the western edge of the I.E. or who happened to wander in from the San Gabriel Valley.

Plus, I've got relatives who live in Walnut.

The Wheel Food Fest will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (November 19) at the Walnut Valley Unified School District Office, 880 S. Lemon Ave., Walnut.

Beneficiaries are the Walnut Valley Education Foundation and the Walnut Valley Food Bank.

Admission is only $1 and a canned food item (or $2, for those of you unwilling to part with your canned goods).

Food trucks scheduled to participate are the Lime Truck, Nom Nom Truck, Don Chow Tacos, Coolhaus, Jogasaki Burrito and Twist Burgers.

And if Walnut is too far of a drive for ya, there's also this...perhaps you can hit both!
