Oh, boy! One of the most anticipated restaurant openings is happening Friday (December 9).

The Rancho Cucamonga Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour opens at 11 a.m.

The fondly remembered restaurant makes its long-awaited return to the Inland Empire in a space that previously held a Romano’s Macaroni Grill, at 10742 Foothill Blvd.

Leading up to Friday’s grand opening, the chain held a free dinner tonight for active military, veterans and their families, the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and will host a free lunch on Thursday for VIPs and newsletter contest winners.

The chain formerly had Inland Empire locations in Montclair and Riverside.
