Stater Bros. continues to give generously

Stater Bros. Charities continues to generously donate to the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County Food Bank.

The market's charitable arm has donated $10,000 to the food bank as part of their third annual Harvesting Hope campaign, presented by Coca-Cola.

If you've been to your local Stater Bros. lately, you've seen the food collection barrels on your way in and out of the store.

Items in great demand include canned fruits and vegetables, whole grains such as oatmeal, crackers, cereal and pastas, canned meats, canned or dry beans and shelf-stable dairy products.

You also might have noticed donation cards at the registers that allow customers to give set amounts to the Harvesting Hope campaign.

If $5 or $10 is a little more than your budget can handle, there's also a change canister at the registers as well.

A big Dine 909 thanks to all who have donated, and thanks to Stater Bros. and the CAPSBC food bank!
