Hangar 24 goes regional, gets expansion OK

After about three and a half years in business, Redlands craft brewery Hangar 24 has graduated from “microbrewery” to “regional craft brewery” by breaking the 15,000-barrel production mark on Dec. 31.

Also, last night, the Redlands Planning Commission unanimously approved a conditional use permit that would allow the craft brewery to construct a 4,596-square-foot addition.

Hangar 24 will also be releasing four new seasonal beers in 2012 and six beers that will be part of their “local field series,” which will use ingredients from Southern California businesses.
