Inland Empire restaurant comings and goings here and there

It seems as though there’s been a flurry of activity on the Inland Empire restaurant scene lately.

Highland’s In-N-Out and San Bernardino’s Five Guys are finally under construction, while a decades-old Burger King has given up the ghost.

Chino will see one Hawaiian restaurant replaced with another.

Back in Highland, Dairy Queen has moved out of its longtime digs at 27224 Base Line and is nearly ready to move into its new digs at 26897 Base Line, about a block away and across the street.

In Redlands, Buffet Star has moved into the spot that was vacated by Canton Bistro at 9980 Alabama Street, Suite A.

In Montclair, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin columnist David Allen reports that the Central Avenue Long John Silvers has been shuttered.
