FoodIE Weekend is (almost) here!

This weekend is another great one for food lovers.

The Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario will host not one, but two delicious events, including the return of the I.E. Food Truck Fest!

Saturday (May 5), the Hispanic Business Alliance brings us the first Dixie Salsa Barbecue Competition, a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Over 30 teams will compete for trophies and cash money, y’all.

In addition to the barbecue competition, there will also be a youth music competition, with the winner taking home $500 and performing at Sunday’s event.

An if the competitions weren’t enough, there will also be a handful of food trucks, a car show exhibition, kids’ zone and more.

Sunday (May 6) will be the third iteration of the ber-popular I.E. Food Truck Fest from noon to 6 p.m.

The previous two fests each attracted about 11,000 attendees.

In addition to 42 food trucks, there will also be live music and a kids’ zone.

Follow the jump for ticket information and a list of scheduled trucks.

In addition, you can add a $5 early entry ticket for the I.E. Food Truck
Fest (perfect for securing your place in line for the Grilled Cheese Truck) and get in at 11 a.m.

A combo ticket for both events is $14 in advance (again, you gotta purchase it before the end of the day Wednesday), or at the door for $18.

Kids six and under are admitted free. Parking is also free.

Dine 909 has been looking forward to this for months…we hope to see you there!
