Help bring $1 million to fight hunger the Inland Empire

This is important.

You can help bring $1 million to help fight hunger here in the Inland Empire.

And all you have to do is vote.

The Walmart Foundation’s Fighting Hunger Together campaign is giving away $2 million to fight hunger in various communities with high unemployment rates.

The top vote-getting community gets $1 million. The next 20 get $50,000.

The Inland Empire is currently number 20 21, dangerously close to getting nothing.

You know we need could use it.

To vote, simply click here to visit the Facebook app for the campaign. You will have to allow the app to access your information on Facebook.

Once you’ve done that, click the ridiculously large “Select a State” button, and choose California.

About halfway down the list on the California page you’ll see “The Inland Empire, CA” listed. Click it.

Then, to vote, just click the large orange “Vote & Share” button. When you vote, you have the option to share with your friends on Facebook.

You can vote once each 24-hour period, so we’re hoping you’ll remember to vote every day.

The contest ends April 30.

Beneficiaries include Second Harvest Food Bank for San Bernardino and Riverside counties and Riverside Meals on Wheels.

This is an easy way to help fight hunger right here in the Inland Empire and takes a minimal amount of effort on your part.

You can also help in the effort by purchasing from the Walmart Foundation’s Fighting Hunger Together partners: General Mills, ConAgra Foods, Kraft Foods and Kellogg’s.

Thanks in advance for helping spread the word!
