What was supposed to be a one-time “thank you” to its loyal fans has become a regular offering.

Upland’s Pine Haven Cafe is continuing its $6 buffet breakfast.

We happened to stop in to take advantage when the buffet was offered last Sunday and were very glad we did.

Everything was prepared to perfection, the service was great and the price couldn’t be beat.

It really is an incredible deal, especially given the quality of the food. So, don’t be surprised if you happen to spot us there.

The buffet runs from 8 a.m. to noon Sundays.

Pine Haven Cafe is at 1191 E. Foothill Ave., inside the GuestHouse Hotel and Suites.

Update: The restaurant has followed up its breakfast buffet (quite literally) with a $7.50 Sunday lunch buffet from noon to 3 p.m. If it’s anything like the breakfast buffet, it’s definitely worth checking out!
