Japan-based sushi bar Kula has opened in the Inland Empire.
One of a handful of locations here in Southern California, the chain is 300-strong in Japan.
Checking out the menu, prices are really reasonable, with all items on its conveyor belt, from hand rolls to nigiri to small bites to 2- to 4-piece rolls, just $2.
Soft drinks are also just $2.
Many of the desserts are $2 as well.
Some items, such as tempura, are more, but still reasonable…less than $5.
The chain advertises authenticity, with 100% organic rice and real wasabi.
The grand opening is set for tomorrow (August 3), with a weekend-only special of $10 off a $40 purchase through September 2 when you either print or display on your mobile device this ad.
Kula, 9659 Milliken Ave., Suites 104 and 105, Rancho Cucamonga, is open 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the last orders in at 8:30 p.m.
