Food trucks headed up to the High Desert this weekend

High Desert foodies, you can stop feeling left out!

The first-ever High Desert food truck festival will be part of this year’s Stater Bros. Route 66 International Festival (not to be confused with the Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous, duh), which takes place this weekend.

The Taste of 66 Gourmet Food Truck and Wine Festival is rolling into the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds from noon to 6 p.m. Friday (August 10) and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday (August 11).

The event will also include a visit from celebrity chef Ingrid Hoffmann from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets are $5 at the door. Kids five and under are admitted free.

The event is being put together by our friends at I.E. Gourmet Food Trucks, who have 18 trucks scheduled for Friday and a whopping 32 trucks scheduled for Saturday.

It’s looking to be a pretty good lineup…click here for more information.
