Back in February, we went to a well-attended food truck at Cable Airport, put on by the Upland Highland Regiment Boosters, a fundraising group for the Upland High School Instrumental Music Program.
We’re pleased to announce that the UHRB is hosting a second Food Truck Frenzy on Saturday (September 22), again at Upland’s Cable Airport, 1749 W. 13th St.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is only $5.
V.I.P. admission (at 10:30 a.m.) is $25 and includes a goodie bag for the first 25 purchasers. V.I.P. tickets will be available from 6 to 7 p.m. tomorrow (September 18) at Sergio’s Mexican Restaurant, 657 W. Foothill Blvd., or at the door the day of the event.
Kids 5 and under are admitted free.
Once again, Dale Bros. Brewery is supplying the libations, with an Oktoberfest biergarten, er, beer garden.
We are looking forward to this event, and want you to join us, so…UHRB has generously given us four pairs of tickets to give away.

Here’s how to enter: Check out the trucks above, and leave a comment below to let us know which one you’re most interested in dining from. Perhaps you’ve already visited them at past events, or maybe this would be your first food truck event. Either way, let us know.
Here are the rules:
- One comment per person.
- You must include a valid email address (which will not be shown). Your email address will only be used to contact you in the event you win.
- Employees of MediaNews Group/Digital First Media and its affiliates, along with members of the employees’ immediate families are ineligible to win. Sorry, Mom.
- The contest ends at noon (12:00 p.m.) PDT Friday, September 21.
- Four (4) winners will be chosen at random via random.org after the close of the contest. Each winner will receive two (2) tickets to the UHRB Food Truck Frenzy Saturday at Cable Airport.
- Winners agree to have their names and hometowns mentioned in the Dine 909 blog.
Winners will be contacted via email.

I am so happy and excited to have the Food Trucks coming to my neighborhood! What a great line up for this Saturday! So many delicious options, I would have to say I can’t wait to have a Chicken Adobo Rice Bowl from White Rabbit and can’t forget to pick up some yummy cupcakes from My Delight Cupcakery! I was born in Vermont and havent had the chance to have actual maine lobster for a very long time. I have never gotten the chance to eat at any food truck before and would love the chance to eat at Cousins Maine Lobster. The sandwich looks awsome! Of course all of the trucks look very intresting.
I can’t wait to try Cousins Maine Lobster. Love Tortas 2 Die 4 but want to sample others. Also want to try the cupcake truck. Where is the grilled cheese truck?
