The California Beer Festival, which was held the first two years in Claremont, is returning Saturday, October 6, but with a change of venue.
This year’s event will be at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, 120 Via Verde, San Dimas.
The event boasts sampling from local and not-so-local breweries, plus food trucks and local restaurants.
Breweries representing the Inland Empire include:
- Big Cheese Pizza Co.
- Black Market Brewing Company
- Claremont Craft Ales
- Hangar 24 Craft Brewery
- Inland Empire Brewing Company
- Kat Daddy
The event will run from 12:30 to 5 p.m., with beer pouring from 1 to 4:45 p.m.
Tickets are $45 for general admission, $65 for V.I.P. (extra sampling from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a souvenir pint glass and meal ticket) and $25 for designated drivers, which includes a meal ticket.
All tickets are available online here or at Eureka! Gourmet Burgers & Craft Beer in Claremont (580 W. First St.) and Redlands (345 W. Pearl Ave.).
Food can be purchased from Redlands’ Brewcakes and Eureka! Gourmet Burgers & Craft Beer as well from several food trucks, including Lee’s Philly, the Ludo Truck, George’s Greek Truck and It’s in the Sauce BBQ.

As in 2011, the event is also a fundraiser for the for the Gen Giammanco
Foundation, which provides financial support to student athletes.
