Allan Borgen returns to TV starting Friday

Food critic Allan Borgen is everywhere.

He can be found in the pages of The Sun, the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, and the Redlands Daily Facts, as well as in Foothills, Redlands and Riverside magazines.

His Let’s Dine Out radio show airs every Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. on AM 590. The show is also on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

He reviews and promotes local restaurants on his Feed Me 411 website, which also has a presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

And after a five-year hiatus, he returns to the medium he’s probably most remembered for: Public television.

Beginning Friday (October 5) Allan’s Let’s Dine Out show will return to KVCR-TV, Channel 24.1 (and also on Channel 9 in Palm Springs).

The show will air at 6:30 p.m. Fridays, and will repeat at 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Allan’s co-host for the show is a familiar one: “Ultimate foodie” Jod Hyman, who shared many, many meals with Allan in the previous incarnation of the Let’s Dine Out TV show.

Allan and Jod will be visiting and reviewing restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego and Ventura counties, as well as right here in the Inland Empire.

Also, Art Institutes Culinary Arts student Cassaday Beck will be highlighting local businesses that offer unique culinary delights.

Plus, dietician Susanne McLay will keep everyone in line with helpful nutritional tips.

We’re looking forward to watching and hope you are, too.
