Wheel Food Fest is Saturday in Walnut

Saturday (November 17) seems to be the day for food trucks.

There are two big events in Riverside County, and a smaller one in Walnut.

Yeah, we know Walnut isn’t in the Inland Empire, but it’s close enough for those at the west end of the I.E. who might be interested.

The Walnut Valley Educational Foundation’s Wheel Food Fest will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the Walnut Valley Unified School District offices at 880 S. Lemon Ave.

Entrance fee is only $2, and $1 for students. Kids five and under are admitted free. Funds raised will go to the school district.

However, those who donate two non-perishable canned or boxed food items will be admitted free. The food donations will go to the Walnut Valley Food Bank.
