Barrel-aged beer tasting event, Pugachev’s Cobra 2.0 release at Hangar 24 Saturday

Remember last year at this time? When you were eagerly anticipating Hangar 24 Craft Brewery’s Pugachev’s Cobra, the latest release in its Barrel Roll limited-edition series?

Well, get ready for a little déjà vu.

That’s because Saturday (December 8), Hangar 24 is releasing its 2012 edition of Pugachev’s Cobra.

Beginning at 11 a.m., you’ll be able to purchase up to six 750mL bottles at $20 a pop. Remember, the holidays are just around the corner.

But wait, there’s more!

As long as you’re headed to Hangar 24 to purchase your Pugachev’s Cobra, you might as well stick around for the brewery’s barrel-aged beer tasting event, which also begins at 11 a.m.

Hangar 24 is reprising its entire Barrel Roll series (Immelmann, Humpty Bump, Hammerhead, Chandelle and v1.0 and v2.0 of Pugachev’s Cobra), plus barrel-aged versions of its 2011 Winter Warmer (rye whiskey barrels) and 4th anniversary Dopplesticke Alt (rye barrels) and “remixed” versions of Immelmann (rye whiskey barrels) and Pugachev’s Cobra (rye barrels).
