One of the bigger food news items of the week is that Dunkin’ Donuts is making a return to Southern California.

The news is not unexpected.

The chain opened an outpost at Camp Pendleton back in May of last year, and it was widely speculated at the time that location was just the first of many to come.

Many is now defined as 150.

However, don’t hold your breath waiting for some Munchkins.

The chain is currently  looking for franchisees and won’t see any stores open in Southern California until 2015.
